Argo™ is a professional navigation and social boating app that offers an easy-to-use experience. The app is completely free to download and use, providing boaters with a range of useful features and capabilities.

With Argo, navigating your boat becomes safer and more convenient. It allows you to discover new destinations, keep track of your boat trips, locate your boating friends on the water, and access real-time local knowledge from fellow boaters.

The free features of Argo include unlimited NOAA/USACE charts covering North America, auto and manual routing to numerous water destinations, a Captain's Log for planning and saving boat trip details, current weather conditions, and social features to connect with friends and club members on the water.

For enhanced functionality, Argo offers premium upgrade features. These include offline charts that can be downloaded for use in areas with no connectivity, extended 7-day marine weather forecasts with daily and hourly conditions, custom depth shading to reflect different depth ranges on the map, and the ability to create downloadable and shareable Captain's Log Reports summarizing your trips.

The navigation and routing capabilities of Argo are extensive. The app allows for auto or manual routing, generating color-coded safe routes customized for your boat based on its draft. You can choose from different map views (Standard, Satellite, Terrain, NOAA ENC) with auto, day or night mode options. The interface incorporates easy-to-use map icons for navigation and points of interest. You can avoid shallow water using detailed water depth numbers and contour shading on charts. Argo also enables trip planning by creating routes with information on distance, estimated time of arrival (ETA), and fuel usage estimates. Additionally, the app provides voyage tracking features that display your GPS position, track, speed, remaining distance, updated ETA, and estimated fuel used. You can record your track without creating a route or starting a voyage, obtaining trip information along the way. Notable features also include the ability to save planned, past, and favorite routes, tracks, and voyages in a Captain's Log with relevant trip details. The app allows you to search for thousands of destinations on the water using easy-to-navigate categories such as marinas, restaurants, anchorages, fuel docks, and ramps.

Argo goes beyond mere navigation by offering valuable local boating knowledge. The app provides real-time reports from other boaters, with report pins placed around you to highlight hazards in the water and other map issues. You can access place details for locations like fuel stations, amenities, transient docks, and contact information. The app also allows users to view reviews and photos from other boaters regarding local points of interest.

In terms of social boating features, Argo makes it easy to connect with friends. The app enables seamless syncing of phone contacts to invite friends and provides search capabilities to find boaters you may know on Argo based on their affiliation (marina or boat club). You can see the real-time location of other Argo users on the water (with privacy settings) and send messages to coordinate meet-ups or simply say hello. Additionally, there is a social feed where you can share your voyages, photos, and other updates with friends using Argo.
